Is this you?

Platform costs add up

These are the usual reasons a growing brand moves off a rented platform.

  • Your monthly bill is the plan, plus several apps, plus the theme, plus a fee on every order.
  • The checkout or stock logic almost fits your business, and the platform won't let you change the part that doesn't.
  • Your team re-enters orders into another system by hand because the store and the back office aren't connected.
  • Years of sales history sit on a storefront you can't move, modify, or fully export.

What you get

What a custom store includes

Scoped in writing before you pay, and fully yours once it launches.

  • A storefront built for your catalog

Designed around how your products sell, including bundles, variants, and wholesale tiers, instead of a theme you have to bend into shape.

  • An admin panel for your team

Products, stock, orders, and customers in one back office designed around your workflow. Nothing to code or configure on your side.

  • Payments and checkout

A checkout connected to your payment provider, with the payment methods your market expects. Processing fees go to the processor, not to us.

  • Orders, stock, and fulfillment

Order statuses, stock movements, and the exports or integrations your warehouse and accountant need.

  • Catalog and customer migration

We move products, variants, images, and customer records out of your current platform or spreadsheets, then check the result with you before go-live.

How we build it

From idea to launch

The same four steps for a first custom store or a replatform off Shopify or WooCommerce.

  1. Discover

A short call about your goals, users, and budget, followed by a written scope.

  2. Design & plan

Wireframes, a technical plan, and a phased delivery schedule.

  3. Build & test

Weekly progress on a staging link, adjusted to your feedback.

  4. Launch & support

Go-live, team training, and optional ongoing support.

Technology

What a custom store is built on

Standard web technology, hosted on accounts you can see and pay directly.

  • Next.js

Product and category pages rendered on the server, so they load fast, get indexed by search engines, and follow the URL structure you choose.

  • React

The storefront and the admin panel, built from reusable components, so adding a new page type doesn't mean rewriting a theme.

  • Node.js

Orders, stock, pricing rules, and integrations handled on the server, where your business rules can be as specific as you need.

  • Vercel & Supabase

Vercel for hosting and Supabase for your catalog, orders, and customer data. Both accounts are transferred to you.

Client work

The two halves of a custom store

We have not published an ecommerce case study yet. These two references show the pieces a custom store is made of: an operations system behind the counter, and a brand website in front of it.

  • “Our whole operation — stock, suppliers, orders and reporting — now runs through one ERP Codinou built for us. We finally have a single source of truth instead of a dozen spreadsheets. Responsive, on time, and easy to use.”
    Jogans CoffeeCustom ERP
  • “Codinou turned our brand into a sharp, modern website that finally reflects who we are. Smooth process, premium result, and support that didn't stop at launch.”

Questions

Custom ecommerce questions

What brands ask before leaving a rented platform.

It depends on what you pay on top of the plan. Our packages start at €3,290, paid once. Shopify Basic costs about €36 a month, or roughly €1,300 over three years, but most growing shops also pay for apps, a premium theme, and transaction fees. Add those up for your own shop and compare. With a custom build, you also own the result.

Tell us what you sell, and how

Send us your catalog size, your current platform, and what doesn't fit. You'll get a scope and a fixed price.
